Admissions - Admissions

Students enrolling in Adult Education Courses must be at least 16 years old and must be withdrawn from high School. Individuals must show proof that they currently reside in Florida and present a picture I.D., in order to be eligible for the in-state tuition rate. Students who are not residents of Florida will be charged the out-of-state tuition rate.

Those interested in enrolling in Adult General Education (AGE) courses will pay an in-state tuition fee of $40.00 per term (four-month). This includes a fee for I.D. and testing. Since the out-of-state tuition does not apply to AGE courses, individuals who cannot show proof of residency may enroll in a community education language course, which requires a greater tuition rate.

Currently, the in-state tuition fee for Career Technical Education (CTE) training is $2.56 per hour, while the out-of-state tuition rate is $10.25 per training hour. Students enrolling in CTE programs are required to pay an application fee of $15 per trimester.

Many of our programs do not require a high school diploma or a GED to enter; however, high school credentials are necessary, in order to qualify for Federal financial aid.
