Receiving Results
Testing results will be e-mailed within 24 hours of taking the test. Candidates must request a paper copy of the diploma by logging on to GEDTestingService.com. Results cannot be given over the phone.
If you are unable to pick up your diploma in person, you must assign, in writing, a designee authorizing he/she to pick up your diploma on your behalf. You must state the reason you are unable to receive it in person and sign and date the request.
Effective March 2016, a standard score of 145 or above on each of the four subtests and an overall score of 580 must be obtain in order to receive a State of Florida High School Diploma from the Department of Education.
Note: Candidates who scored between 145 and 149 on all of the sections of the operational GED® test will be retroactively awarded their Diploma.
